To begin the physical installation remove the battery.
The sensor of the LetterboxNotifier is black plastic cube. This will need to be fitted on your letterbox flap. Each cube will have double sided tape section. You will see an arrow bottom of the cube. Sensor cable has to be on top, arrow has to be on the bottom and show the direction of the flap opening direction. If you are planning to install flap opens outdoor, arrow has to point outdoor direction. If you are planning to install flap opens indoor, arrow has to point indoor direction.
Stick the plastic sensor cube to the right or left of your letterbox depending on which side your LetterboxNotifier device will be located.
*ensure you leave enough flex on the cable to enable the flap to open fully without disconnecting. Also ensure your cable does not go across your letterbox as that will interfere with any letters or packages posted through the door.
I would strongly recommend you install tape around the LetterboxNotifier sensor cube for added security. You can find one sided tape in the package. This is to mitigate instances when a post person or delivery person opens to the flap a little too aggressively..
Stick the black letterboxNotifier device to the left or right of letterbox opening on the inside of your door or letterbox space. The back of the device is fitted with double sided sticky tape. Which will need to be peeled back and stuck to the door.
Once you complete all these steps. Install the battery and complete the WIFI Settings below.
